Doormans Top Tips >>> A trick i used to do on the doors when you had a guy giving you shit for a while but he didnt deserve hitting was >>> Id grip him and then do a twister on his neck ( cow bite) He'd be confused then id explain "just wait till you get home dickhead and you're misses see's that. Now youll know what shit is"
Imagine him tying to explain a love bite on his neck after a night out!
The doorman did it luv, i promise!
I even had a guy bring his wife back wanting me to explain that it was me and he wasnt with another girl. All I said was "thats not the girl, you was with last week" She clipped him, we laughed, he didnt give me anymore shit :)

It's important to give new students a good honest impression off martial arts Now It's No secret I love teaching kids and Theres no bigger responsibility than being someone's first experience in the arts ,, Our job is to set them free
keep the young kids curious and having fun, keep them wanting to see more, at that age it is magical- there imagination sees it as a cloak of armour Explain how beautiful the front kick is and how it turns all baddies into a blubbering mess They'll hear the tone in your voice and be mystified ;)
Then let them see the round kick, look look rug rats > watch me as it comes up and around slowly (don't fall over haha) !!! Sorry in fact DO fall over > It ok to let them see you getting it wrong, its ok. We are all in the same boat Hay with little speed kid it can spin you round on the spot (It's like a free merry go round) give it a try
There's No need to say this is for a fight to a child just yet - make it animated magical and more importantly make it Correct. But as they do get older with a little whisper from sensei The fun they have been having in their imagination can be instantly transformed into a move with a different purpose now set in reality (around 10-12 years old)
I really loved the early Days off training (23 years ago) Going for my yellow belt and orange and so on ,, That constant "Arrrr" factor, Arrr yes I get it now !! It makes sense now, It's fantastic when it all starts to click into place and you can feel it's right
Simply Give them kids the pieces of the jig saw each class and let them build their own picture ;)
Yes we give them the vehicle But in the end it's up to them how they drive it ... See MoreSee Less

3rd part > Re do the 2 scenarios they wemt through in part 1 ( lets see what changes )
Part 4 > 3 instructors will be selected to go through a police interview ( A right good grilling) to see if they say the right things amd get a heros reward or if they mess up and send Themselves stright to jail... ( To many people get done for what they say, Not what they do)
Im not sure what other selfdefence applicable martial arts systems out there do but being on the doors for 15 years and being in courts more times than i wanted to be means > i know what a system needs to cover to give the good people on the street out there the edge over the bad people out there...
*The rest of the months will be training everything i used that got me home safely regarsless of bottles stabbing riots and flying handbags*
